This is some of its history.

History of Conventions held:

1981 - Tulsa, Oklahoma (5th Doctor)

1982 - Chicago, Illinois

1983 - Columbus, Ohio (When the Filk booklet first appeared)

1984 - St. Louis, Missouri (Twenty-five hundred people showed up!!!)

1985 - New Orleans, Louisiana

Activities that were available:

Panels, filking, and a masquerade costume contest

were some of the things you could do or watch.
